Court Dinner to the St Julian's Alumni

On Friday 10 November, St. Julian Scholars – the Master Innholder Scholarships alumni – were invited to join The Worshipful Company of Innholders for its annual Court Dinner.

Scholars enjoyed a Louis Roederer Champagne reception, where they were greeted by the Court on their arrival before entering the Great Hall for a delicious three-course dinner, prepared by Herbert Berger and his team.

Master Nicholas Rettie MI welcomed the St. Julian Scholars and thanked them for their continuous passion for the industry. Chairman of the St. Julian Scholars Gareth Banner MI and St. Julian Scholar Sabine Kern expressed their gratitude for the continued support of the Company

The first course of the evening was whisky, honey and thyme cured salmon mi-cuit served with beetroot, apple and horseradish remoulade. This was followed by loin of venison with game pepper sauce, and wild mushroom and bread stuffing; before finishing off with a bitter chocolate and mint parfait.
